How to run dvd player software off a flash drive?
I have a friend whom i visit every now and then, and i like to bring dvds to his house to watch them. The problem is that his dvd player software is always messing up!
I’d like to find a way to install a dvd player software onto a usb drive, and then when i put the drive into his computer along with a dvd, the player will run off my flash drive.
Can anyone help me with this idea?
Just choose your flash drive as the destination when installing the software.Instead of drive C choose your flash drive.It should work.
can I save an indesign file on a dvd?
It just doesn’t fit on a cd, and I want to send it to a publisher without breaking it into several parts.
The file is larger than 4.3GB? Then burn it to a DL DVD. If it’s larger than 8GB, I think you need to rethink things.
Movie DVD and VHS Rentals in Bucuresti Romania ?
Is there a place in Bucuresti, Romania that has a large selection of vhs or dvd movies (foriegn movies, USA movies, Japanese movies, etc…, etc….) ??? I can’t find any information about this anywhere, do people just download them off the internet over there? I looked at the websites for some of the movie theaters there, but they all seem to be showing the same really crappy hollywood movies from America, nothing interesting at all. Anybody know if something like Hollywood video or any local video stores exist there?
Frankly, yes, here generally people just download the movies off the internet.

Why are new DVD releases usually held on Tuesdays?
Major DVD releases, such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Batman Begins and Wedding Crashers, are usually held on Tuesdays. Why is this, and what does it have to due with final box office numbers?
It has nothing to do with the original box office receipts…it does have everything to to with sales…DVD’s are released AFTER the weekend so not to disrupt weekend box office salesand rentals and Tuesdays are they slowest day in retail.

DVD player with speakers attached, how do I get TV audio to come out of the speakers?
The speakers and the dvd player came as one item, they are connected. Movie (DVD player) audio comes through the speakers but when we switch back to the TV the tv audio just comes out of the speakers built into the tv (not very strong!)
The cable (cable tv) from the wall is hooked into the tv and there is no place to hook it into the DVD player, is there a special cord to connect the audio?
You need to connect the tv audio output to the dvd stereo input (sometimes marked aux input or the like) you can use a variety of cables provided the tv and the dvd/stereo have the same type of plugs (red/white rca cables) an optical audio input or something to that effect. The bottom line is the tv output needs to go to the stereo’s input, then you would change the stereos input to aux or whatever to hear your tv. 1 more detail, you may need to use the setup on your tv to turn on the "line out" feature in audio setup to send signal to your stereo
Should i buy an external DVD player for my laptop to play region 1 US DVD’s or get software to do this?
Hi,
I have seen the other similar questions about playing region 1 DVD’s on a UK PC or Laptop, so i understand that the region on the player is set and can only be changed 5 times. So my feeling is that if i buy an external DVD drive and set it to region 1, or better yet buy the external drive from the USA so its pre set then i will be able to watch Region 1 DVDs without making any alterations to my Laptop.
I’m wary of installing software from unknown publishers off the internet you see and since something like AnyDVD costs $49, i may as well buy the external DVD drive off ebay for about the same price.
What are your thoughts on this?
